The large rotating machines such as steamers are the key facilities in some departments. If the sets are out of conditions, enterprises are subject to huge economic loss. More fearfully, it's possible to intimidate spot workers' safety. Along with technological advancement, these sets have higher speed and become more complicated. So the maintenance highly needs holistic ideology of analyzing. But the means of analyzing and diagnosticating is just to process single sections' information. It ignores relations of each section. So it can't entirely describe inspecting information and distinguish faults exactly. In order to monitor sets' working status completely and distinguish faults accurately, the project explores means of rotor's multi-sections information fusion.Basic theory of single section information fusion is investigated. The fast arithmetic of Full Vector Spectrum (FVS) is processed. The arithmetic is used to calculate parameters of Full Information Analysis . On the base of instance analysis, characteristics of Full Information Technology are explored. They are the foundation of multi-sections information fusion.Kinematics equation of rotor-bearing system is constructed by the means of finite elements. The base of multi-sections information fusion is deduced. By using FVS, introducing phase information of each section, the space vibrating form of some single frequency is displayed. It's advantage of describing information fully and displaying clearly.Full Vector Transfer Spectrum (FVTS) is first invented and established based on multi-sections information fusion theory. It has common spectrum characters, but it displays space vibrating forms of multi-sections, multi-frequencies. The paper briefly introduces vibration mechanisms of gear coupling's misalignment and rotor imbalance and analyzes applications of FVTS. It is proved: FVTS is perfect when expressing information.Full Vector Transfer Cascade (FVTC) is established based on FVTS. It's an effective tool which is used to monitor and analyze the process of sets' start-stop. Correlated sections' information along with rotating speed variation is displayed. It entirely describes rotor systems' information when sets are speeding up or drop. Through instance analyzing, it's proved that FVTC is predominant.The thesis defines FVTS and FVTC based on rotor kinetics theory and data fusion. It proves their application in sets' monitoring and fault diagnosis. FVTS & FVTC can display single section's vibration intensity, axes locus' orientation and difference of each section's starting orientation. They can treat rotor's all sections as an entire system. They can monitor sets more comprehensively, distinguish faults more accurately. It's proved: along with studying malfunction's mechanisms deeper, it will be preponderant to analyze information from several correlative sections.
