Voltage quality is one of the most important targets of power quality in power system. Reactive power balance is an important condition to ensure the voltage quality. Voltage will be departure its rating value if this balance is broken.In normal condition of power system, loss of voltage has changed with the operation mode changing. So it is impossible to make all users have rated voltage at any time. In order to make the voltage reach the prescriptive standard, changing transformer tap and casting or shutting off the reactive power compensation equipments are adopted.This dissertation discusses the control theory of voltage and reactive power in substations, analyzes the means to adjust voltgage and reactive power. The problems of classical nine regions map theory were given, frequentlay and mistaking act. A new theory of seventeen regions map is desigening by improving calculating precision and responding speed . Comparing with normal measurements, the suggested ones can effectual reduce transformer tap operating times, reduce voltage undulation, while have the same effect of reactive power control, so the voltage will be much close to its rating value . The paper also discussed how to integrated the reactive power regulating function into the substation automation system in detail. |
