Owing to the suitability and energy-saving, more and more engineering project have used underfloor air distribution system In designing of air conditioning in big space building. The project case of using plenum chamber with complex structure is not so much in underfloor air distribution system, also there is no uniform criterion and standard in designing the plenum chamber. The performance of airflow organization can directly affect circumstance air quality and comfort in audience area. Therefore, an accurate grasp of static pressure inside the static pressure and velocity distribution of the audience area will play an important role in improving air quality and comfort. So it is necessary to simulate and optimize the airflow organization in big space plenum chamber with the means of Computational Fluid Dynamics.This work introduced the air distribution under chair which is suitable for the big theater and the choice of air conditioning style; introduced the basic principle of airflow organization in plenum chamber;The model was established. The grids in small size of the structure in the model and flow rate of variation in air supply tube under seat are refinement; Combination with good heat preservation inside of plenum chamber, this article used RNGk-e turbulence model . The Pressure interpolation using standard discrete format. Second-order upwind scheme is used in the convection of momentum equation, k equation, e equations. Simple algorithm is used in the coupling of pressure and velocity. It is calculated through the built-in parallel computing in the FLUENT solver module.Through simulation and calculation of Flow field in plenum chamber, it can educe that if the quantity of different inlet are the same, then the problem of asymmetric in front and back rank and flow field of plenum chamber are on. Through optimization, it can educe that in the premise of no changing in structure and position of establishment in plenum chamber, how to adjust quantity of different inlet to achieve uniformity of air distribution.The results of this work are significant for the designing and researching on structure and airflow organization in big space plenum chamber.
