The axial plunger pump is very important to high pressure washer. This article illustrate the working principle and design requirement of axial plunger pump On the two aspects : high speed and high pressure Systematically . analyse the methods of integral scheme design and valve . Establish the mathematical model of piston's reciprocating motion , and calculate the piston stroke .velocity .acceleration which change with the rotation angle of swash plate. Infering the math model of flow rate change with the number of cylinder and swash plate angle , explain the reason of the fluctuate of the pump with odd number cylinders larger than that of the pump with even number cylinders. Safety valve is very important to axial plunger pump , we establish the calculate method of the Safety valve system design . Establish the stress analysis mathematical model of piston.swash plate and piston guide .Friction and lubrication determine the life of pump . To extend the life we should decrease the wear and improve lubrication of pump's kinematic pair . Analyse the factors which affect Friction and lubrication , giving the measure to improve it . the method to choose material of kinematic pair and lubrication. Finally , Analyse the lubricating mechanism of kinematic pair according hydrodynamic lubrication theory . Estimating the reliability of seal with oil film thickness , the structure of seal . state of lubrication . kind and number of oil. cooling topology is key factors to pump's seal and lubrication .
