Smoke screen is one of the major means of implementing no source light electricity confrontation. There are no unitary specifications for evaluation method of interference efficiency so far . In-out-country's present situation of research and trend of development of this field were reviewed in the paper .By studying the interference mechanism of smoke for IR thermal imaging,the paper reveals that the essence of interference role of smoke for IR thermal imaging is light power's attenuation and the characteristic parameters used for expressing attenuation capability are transmissivity numbers. Due to the fact of the little deliverance amount of smoke for small scaled projectile and the fact of heavy interruption role of weather condition to outdoos test,the paper has investigated an equality test method to convert outdoors test to indoors test, which evades the interruption role of weather condition and makes test results objective. The basic theories of test are Lambert laws. The computing models of smoke are established on the foundation of theoretical prediction and test.
