The Rolling Ring is the most important parts of the drive in the whole rotary kiln system,The number of Rolling Ring is determined by the length and carrying capacity of rotary kiln, usually there ara several Rolling Rings in each of the rotary kiln system. At present, most of the Rolling Ring structure is overall, however, this structure has some problems such as casting,transportation, installation and demolishment,it's need to design Rolling Ring in split form.Under the certain conditions, Rolling Ring in split form can produce bigger Rolling Ring,and overcome transport problems,it's very simple to install and demolish.there is Rolling Ring in split structure during foreign countries,but the key technologies of design is secrecy.so it's very important to study the best design of Rolling Ring in split structure.There reference the size ofΦ5×33m Rolling Ring to design a more reasonable Split rolling ring, and study it. Firstly, introduce the working principle and installations of rotary kiln, analyse the stress of rolling ring,and try to design rational rolling ring in split structure; Secondly,this was followed by a rolling circle of strength and stiffness of the corresponding check, using the finite element analysis method has been rolling circle in the normal conditions of contact stress and contact stress to a minimum as the goal to design the structure of a group of more reasonable size of the sub - style rolling circle, and then analyzes its thermal stress, as well as hot - the structure of the coupling characteristics and magnitude of stress,; thirdly, introduce the similar theory theorem and design a similar model of Rolling Ring in split structure by applying dimensional analysis method of similar theory; Finally,take the mechanical behavior of rolling ring as the plane stress problem, take a laboratory stress test by applying the method for partition electric, get out the basic principles of the test and line group, and so on. Get the stress distribution by the test datas and compared to the results that get by applying ANSYS software, further proof that such split structure meet the requirements of strength and stifrhess.the calculation results of this Rolling Ring describes that the split structure is reasonable and feasible and solve the problems of rotary kiln in the overall Rolling Ring.The results of these research determine that the development of rotary kiln will bigger and more. It enhance the ultimate factory production profits greatly.
