Minimalist Interior Design Style To Explore

Since the 1980s, minimalism, the design style characterized by simple form, pure space and exquisite construction, has attracted universal attention in Western academia and design world. By means of the example of the interior design project of Suguang Weapons Complex of Jiangsu, based on the minimalist design theory in modern interior design, this article analyzes the design styles and basic characteristics of minimalism from different levels and perspectives, exploring the application of design methods of minimalism to modern interior design. In the meantime, in combination with the project case, from the viewpoint of technology aesthetics, this article analyzes with emphasis the uniqueness of minimalism's expression in design style, construction, details and technology, which will benefit us in our better use of its design method in future practice, providing a new idea to make interior space design possess more cultural values.
