As people become older all over the world, electric scooter, which is used for elders, has been concerned by the world universal, and has a wide market prospect. Researching the electric scooter for elders deeply, in view of elders'life characteristic, we develop a new type of electric scooter using modern mechanical and electrical technology, which has an important practical significance and market value.In this paper, we study the operation control system of electric scooter carefully, then design the hardware and the software. The main research contents are as follows:①By analyzing and studying the technology and status of electric scooter all over the world, according to the whole design and the development demand of the new electric scooter, combined with the mechanism characteristic of the new one, we propose appropriate operation control plan.②Having compared the LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and keyboard panel used in operation control system of electric scooter in China and abroad, and basing on the technology actuality and characteristic related, we design and develop the LCD and keyboard panel for the operation control system of the new type of electric scooter.③By learning about the demand of operation control system of the new type electric scooter, we contrast and choose the right MCU(Micro Control Unit), temperature sensor and angle sensor. Then we compare and analyze the technology characteristic and parameter of these components.④Having researched and designed the hardware of the operation control system of the new type electric scooter, which includes designing the schematic circuit, making the PCB(Printed Circuit Board), buying elements, jointing them onto the PCB and debugging the hardware program. Assembling all the parts of the operation control system, we learn the IDE(Integrated Development Environment) MPLAB and the PIC CCS C compiler. After writing the code of each module, debug the whole program which is made up of several segments.⑤Having researched and designed the software of the operation control system of the new type electric scooter, which contains the driving program of LCD module, the driving program of keyboard module, sampling and conversion of the angle sensor AD module and synchronous serial communication module between the operation control system and motor driving system including the design of communication protocol and error controlling method.⑥After the sample of the electric scooter coming out, we make experiment of the operation control system, in the final, we find it is available and doable, and then we make measures to improve the hardware and software of the operation, control system.The research and practice above lead to success that we expected, and we can develop new type electric scooter deeply on the basis of the achieved...
