The quasi-liquid device is a typical fuze device whose function is mainly to delay arming. It has been used gradually widely for its characters of low cost and narrow time spread. However, the analysis and design theory on the fuze quasi-liquid device have not been studied systematically and thoroughly. As a kind of exiguity granule, quasi-liquid has a form of granule body and some characters of bulk solid. In order to study the quasi-liquid arming device more systemically, the flow patterns of quasi-liquid in the conduits is partitioned into lateral flow pattern and central flow pattern according to the theory of flow pattern of bulk solid in silos. The lateral pressure coefficient is given consulting with the analysis method used in granular mechanics. The formulas for axes and lateral direction pressure of quasi-liquid in the conduits are established referring to Janssen's analysis method. Combining with the flux formulas in the conduit of bulk solid summarized by former, the concept of acceleration potential is proposed and the quality flux formulas of the quasi-liquid in different flow patterns when flowing are analysed and setted up in allusion to the lateral flow pattern and central flow pattern. And the partition theory of flow pattern is proved by the experiments in both lateral and central pattern sets of devices. Finally, the formulas are applied to calculate the products for customization and the results of the calculation are agreed with the survey value.
