| The flange joint system is widely used in modern industry.The leaking of dangerous medium of the system may result in the environmental pollution,even disastrous accident.The flange design methods in the standard of GB150-1998 of China are mainly refers to the old design method of ASME,the leak-rate was not controlled directly in the design.As the increasing of equipment size and the parameters of pressure and temperature,the more attention has been paid to the improvement of flange design method.Some new flange design methods,such as EN1591 and ROTT of PVRC,have been published.The new methods consider both the leaking rate and the strength of the flange.The new methods have more complex parameters in it and will bring more difficulties in the design by hand.It is very clear that the importance for the development of the computer-aided design software.The development of the design software based on the new methods can reduce the uncertainty in using and increase the safety of the flange.The software of the flange computer-aided design based on EN1591 has been developed by completely analyzing the EN1591 in this paper.The main contents and achievement are as following:1.The new calculation method of EN1591 has been analyzed and compared with the methods in the GB150-1998.The standard EN1591-1,taking the leak-rate as an important parameter in the flange design,has more advantages than other methods.However,the parameters of gasket based on the leak-rate would be replenished further more by experiment.The GB150 can ensure the tightness of flange joints,but the control of the leak-rate is limited in the range of 0.01mgHe/(s.m)to 0.1mgHe/(s.m),as for the calculation example.2.The calculation methods have been programmed in order to overcome the calculation difficulty caused by the complex parameters in the method of EN1591. 3.The flange computer-aided design software based on the EN1591-EN1591 flange CAD system,has been developed by utilizing the Visual C++6.0, AutoeAD re-development tool Object ARX,the database of ACCESS,Word and C++.The software functions include followings:Flange design(standard pipeline flange design,non-standard flange design),automatic draw functions, output design report,and data searches.The Flange Standard database,Gasket Standard database,Bolt standard database,Gasket Parameter database,Material Property database and Design Parameter database have been established.4.The connection between ACCESS database and the VC has been established with ODBC.The connection design of operation interface, AutoCAD,word and database has been established with VC.The automatic drawing has been realized by adding the acad.rx program to the filer of AutoCAD setup,and the names of the program of ARX are added in the filer. The connection between the program of ARX and the database has been realized with the database class in VC. |
