| Electromagnetic emission is a new research technology developed in recent years. Based on electromagnetic emission theory and computer simulation technology, some concerned issues on electromagnetic emission technology were studied, and launching principle of rail electromagnetic gun was explored.Firstly, the principles of three types of EML launchers were introduced. By comparing their characteristics, the rail launcher was eventually selected to be studied in the paper. Afterwards, operational principle, the structure composition and the characteristics of the rail type electromagnetic launching were analyzed. Then, model of the rail type electromagnetic guns for design and analysis was established. And interior ballistics equations were deduced. By Simulink, the software for dynamic simulation, launching process was simulated, so that the relation was recognized between projectile muzzle velocity and voltage, capacitance, rail length or projectile mass. Reasonable parameters for designing model were provided, and the energy conversion efficiency of electromagnetic gun was calculated. Through contrast analysis, the feasibility of the electromagnetic gun was verified. Finally, by analysis of impulse power system, projectile and launch rail of the electromagnetic gun, their equation of state was derived, and the basic design parameters of key components were obtained, which would be foundation for further research on electromagnetic gun. |
