Research On The Dynamic Characteristics Of Electromagnetic Rail Launch System

With the rapid development of science and technology,traditional chemistry launch technologies are hardly meet people's special demands of launching apparatus in the aspect of velocity, because of its inherent limits and defects.The electromagnetic launch technology, which rose in recent years, is a leap of launch theory and technology, and gives a new approach to solve above mentioned problems.In order to correct and accurate understanding of electromagnetic rail lanch technology,it is very important to dynamic properties research of electromagnetic rail launch system.Because railgun is a high-speed sliding contact under the stress field,electromagnetic field and thermal field coupling complex system,presently,it is very difficult to master entire system physical processes of electromagnettic railgun.Taking into account deeper research on the dynamic characteristics of railgun and the cost,recur to simulation model to truely simulate railgun properties has academic value.In order to truely research the dynamic properties of railgun,In the study, the single and multi-module timing capacitor discharge railgun power system,multi-module capacitor discharge time determined by the railgun load.establishing simulation model,from the num-erical solution and simulation analysis to study,to verify the accuracy of the model,then,we use the model to simulate a railgun launch experiment.Using Ansoft to analysis the magnetic field of railgun from the point of magnetic field.then, by numerical calculation and simulation obtain the velocity and displacement curve of pellet.finally,sim-ulated and analysed some parameters of railgun has been.It is very close to results of numerical calculation and simulation and experiment,it shows that equation of the railgun system are correct.simulation model of railgun based on simulink can be used to analysed the dynamic characteristics of railgun with single and multi-module timing capacitors.
