Volume Package Units Computer Monitoring System

With the rapid development of the computer technology and equipment monitoring technology, computer-based monitoring system has been widely used in industrial fields. There are some problems in the production system of Qujing Cigarette Factory, such as facility dispersion, energy consumption, and failure rate. So, this paper used the more mature technologies such as computer, network, controlling and communications technology in the today industrial areas, a real-time monitoring system of Cigarette machines and Packaging machines is developed using LabVIEW. The main contents of the paper are follows:(1) The paper comprehensively described the development and application of computer-based monitoring system at home and abroad.(2) The paper proposed a solution of a monitoring system based on characteristics of production process.(3) The paper introduced the production process of the enterprise, and gave a list of monitoring points.(4) The paper designed a real-time monitoring system using LabVIEW.Using this real-time monitoring system to monitor the key equipments for Qujing Cigarette Factory, it greatly reduced the equipment failure rate and the enterprise enhanced the efficiency of production.
