Now, in the world of product design, the mainstream of design thoughts and ideas, are for instance, Green design, Ergonomic design, Experience design Emotion design, Bionic design, from its own point of view, every thought and idea "discusses and writes " product design. So that, the base point of product design appraising criterion becomes different. A reasonable, scientific, and integrative appraising criterion of product design becomes a question required to be solved in product design.In this paper, through the analysis of product design, product design turn into a product design criteria and characteristics of the connotation, put science, humanities and social sciences, the perspective of historical development is the product standards, and such as the main content. Product standards and the design of a certain historical stage genre and style are closely linked: a design style with a behind of "appropriate" design standards. Specific product design criteria will also point to a specific design style and genre.
