Shanghai international shipping center construction is a national significant strategic decision, and Yangshan deepwater port area project is an important constituent in this construction advancement. As a symbolic project, Yangshan deepwater port area issue of land territory project is crucial in production to Yangshan port area.According to the master planning sketch of Yangshan deepwater port area issue of land territory project, the plane position of the port is set between two adjacent areas with varied landforms and soil horizons. Part of the land area of the port lies in the mountain area, and the other part in the marine area. The height of the port is designed to be 7.3m, and the formation of the land area 6.6m. On average the height of the seafloor in the port is +2.0~-20.0m, and the deepest area -35.0m. A large amount of materials have to be filled in order to form land area. Having considered the conditions of the land area, the depth of water, hydrology and geology, as well as the master planning sketch, hydraulic structure, construction period and project cost, we've made a deep study of the backfill material in designing. Eventually we decided to use sea sand as main backfill material. In some mountain areas we backfill with rocks. By doing like this we can reduce the costs for making land area and the ground processing expense, and meanwhile meet the demand of construction period. Thus, in studying land area of a port, concentration should be focused on the formation of land area and the reinforcement of natural foundation.The deep blown sanding-up region of the issue of land territory project have 920,000 square meters, how to process this part of ground is a key to the entire issue of land territory project. The nature of this powder granulated sugar land territory general engineering is not good enough, so suitable processing measures should be carried on in this process. For its simple construction, short project period, low cost and other merits, inspires without the padding flushes the law is suitable to the particular request of Yangshan grounding processing specially. Through inspires without the padding flushes the field test and the application, this research provides the technical guidance to Yangshan deepwater port ground processing project construction and following port area construction.This research is not only useful in developing a new mentality to other ground processing project and providing related ground processing standard reference to future draw up or revision, but also helpful in further understanding and discovery the suitability of Inspires without the padding flushes the law processing powder granulated sugar ground, and conducive to solve certain questions of inspires flushes method in practical application. Therefore it has very big theory and practical significance, and provides scientific theory basis and instruction in carrying on inspires flushes the design and the construction correctly, reasonably and effectively and in actual processing scope of the development inspires without the padding flushes method as well. In another word, this research may create important social and economic efficiency.
