As one of the important and difficult questions in the safety analysis and operation of the fast reactor, sodium leak and sodium spray fire accident is attached importance to. However, only a few little scale experiments were carried out on the analysis of this kind of accident to accommodate the fast reactor design in China, thus the information is of great deficiency. Considering this, after studied the international research about the sodium leak and sodium spray fire which includes theory, experiments and development of the calculated program of the spray fire, some illustrations of the applicability of the foreign experiments on the analysis of China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) are presented in the thesis as the first part.To meet the needs of the safety analysis and continuous research about sodium spray fire of CEFR, safety analysis about the whole spray fire accident process must be made, and the calculated model must be set up. As the main part of the thesis, calculation about the typical accidental rooms of the primary sodium loops and secondary sodium loops are made separately; the results and conclusions are also shown. What's more, some evaluations and suggestions are given according to the calculated results.The suggestions for future work are also presented. It includes the improvements of the calculation model of the sodium spray fire, sodium-concrete reaction and hydrogen release even explosion after the sodium spray fire, and the experimental study of the sodium fire.
