On the basis of the present construction of high-grade asphalt concrete pavement in China, considering all kinds of technical criteria and costs in the construction comprehensively, the thesis puts forward the way to find out the optimal construction scale on different conditions. Based on the result of the first three parts of the overall research, it emphasizes on the matching of the productivity of the dominant machine—batching plant with the project scale and the time limit, as well as the matching between the productivity of other machines and the dominant one. By using Economics of Scale Theory and Queuing Theory, it comes up with the way to resolve the two kinds of construction scale and gives relevant evaluation.
