The dust mass concentration measurement based on photometer measurement is widely used nowadays because of its fast, simple and continuous working features. A system for dust mass concentration measurement based on photometer measurement is researched and developed in this work. My work in this paper can fall into three parts.First, study the principle for dust mass concentration measurement based on photometer measurement.Then, the most important part, design a system for dust mass concentration measurement based on photometer measurement. Improvement on optical system not only reduces the cost of this system but also reduces the drifting in measurement result; Sample circuit with carefully choosed photorectifier and operational amplifier meets the needs of this measurement system; An inexpensive and general monolithic integrated circuit (89C52) system is designed to transform the sampling signal into the dust mass concentration value; The signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the measurement in this system is greatly improved through the laser modulation.In the last part of this work, a compare is made between the AM510 (produced by TSI Corporation) and this system, and some parameters of this system are given during this process. The result is that: the system for dust mass concentration measurement based on photometer measurement in this work is able to achieve a very good measurement effect. The deviation amplitude of the mass concentration measured by this system is within±10% of the mass concentration measured by AM510. This system can measure the mass concentration range from 0 to 20mg/m~3.What I do in this work great reduces the cost of the instrument for dust mass concentration measurement based on photometer measurement, and provide one kind of instrument that can be widely used to prevent the air pollution.
