The pipelines of underground saps are the life-line of underground basic establishments. They are the transporters of matter, energy sources and information, making underground saps to work properly and efficiently. The quality of pipelines Integration affects the safety and security of the whole underground saps' work of its pipelines, the time limit of the project,the investment, the usage, the operation and maintenance, the capacity of residential area to fit for the requirement of engineering pipelines' categories and quantities. Traditionally pipelines integration depends mainly on the experience of the designers, lacking scientific analysis and calculation, the cost is high and the cycle is long. The purpose of this thesis is to study the methods and approaches that can solve the underground saps'pipelines better, especially the warm and ventilation pipelines, which are the hardest part of the whole integration.First, this paper builds the capability and geometry constraint model of underground saps and pipelines, on the basis of introduction about saps system and warm and ventilation pipelines. A generalized overlap area conception is defined according to such constraints, and the method to calculate overlap area is described in details.And then, by the analysis of actual warm and ventilation pipelines design process, embranch- ment saps simplification is proposed. The ideas of synthesizing pipelines in all embranchment saps when doing the section layout of main sap, and using the layout of main sap's pipelines as constraints when laying the pipelines of embranchment saps are brought forward. And the warm and ventilation pipelines integration problem is focused on section layout. With respect to the pe- culiarities of saps and pipelines, a modified genetic algorithm is put forward. The author uses Deterministic Sampling Selection, Arithmetic Crossover based on heurism of fitness function, and Non-uniform Mutation to construct Genetic Algorithm operators, and Simulated Annealing to modify the pipelines layout in the main sap when conflicts can't be eliminated in some em- branchments. The operate process of section layout is given out at last.Finally, an instance simulated in MATLAB is put out to checkout the arithmetic, the result given in the paper shows that the Genetic Algorithm designed in this article is available and effi- cient, proving that the research has theoretic and practice significance.
