As one of the indispensable technologies in the future war, missile interception has become a researching focus in the military field. Scholars in different countries have made great achievements in the research of missile interception. Based on these achievements, this paper is mainly about the guidance law of the interceptor. The proportional navigation, which is widely used in the world, is researched in this paper. Since the classical proportional navigation is not propitious to the interception of highly maneuvering target, an advanced proportional navigation is designed with the estimation algorithm of movement state added in. The orientation of interceptor is also involved in this paper. The simulation results demonstrate the advanced proportional navigation reduces the hardware requirement of the seeker. The interceptor can achieve high precision when using the advanced proportional navigation and selecting a proper orientation.Further, a simulation system is designed in order to virtually simulate the process of missile interception. Three linked computers are brought in, and trajectory calculation, data exchange and demo programs are designed. This simulation system is also proved to be highly robust and extensible.
