With the rapid development of tactical ballistic missile(TBM),TBM has become the strongest weapon in modern combat.Due to its fast speed,small RCS features,successful interception of TBM is of high difficulty.Through study on movement equation of TBM,this paper provides a TBM interception method based on trajectory prediction.This method has been successfully applied in one army air defense system for TBM interception operation process,in which,trajectory factor of TBM is predicted in real time and tractroy equation is eatabished by using of dimension-expansion EKF method based on measuring value of tracking radar.Main innovation of this interception method: by incorporating the trajectory prediction with operation process of air defense missile weapon system,a new TBM interception method is provided to optimize the operation command procedure and improve the integrated combat effectiveness of weapon system.By using of this method,the calculation of interception point adopts trajectory curve extrapolation so as to represent the real movement trajectory of target.By model simplification of current TBM equation,analytical solution of trajectory equation is successfully derived.Comparing with traditional trajectory equation which is obtained only by numerical value solution,analytical solution has better satisfaction to practical engineering requirement,with higher real time characteristics.Result of numerical value test shows this method can have more accurate,quick and real time judgment of interception analysis against TBM targets and provide optimal firing opportunity for commanding officer.Distinguishing of real missile and decoy improves the integrated combat effectiveness of weapon system.Adoption of Fire-Observe-Fire combat mode enhances the kill probability of the system,and prediction of interception point based on trajectory prediction enables the missile to destroy the target more effectively.
