Traditional cycloid pin wheel reducer usually adopts the structure of two same cycloid wheels which are 180°offset, with the rotating shaft bearings supporting heavy force. The rotating speed of the inner ring and outer ring is more than the speed of the input shaft. This makes the bearings between eccentric sleeves and the cycloid wheels be weak link. At the same time, the rotating shaft size is influenced by the input structure. The reducer power is limited. The paper researches the new planet spreads to move structure which adopts the three cycloid wheels offsetting 120°each other, to overcome the above defect of the rotating shaft bearings. The paper researches the design method, theories analysis, transmission test, etc. of the new reducer, so as to achieve some valuable achievements. Main studies and achievements are as follows:1. Introduce the basic structure, characteristics and moving principle cycloid pin wheel reducer and define the eccentric direction and the shape fix the form method, complete the overall project and structure design of the cycloid pin wheel reducer.2. Establish the mathematic model of the planet spreads to move of the new cycloid pin wheel, calculate in detail each main parameters of the prototype.3. Analyze in detail the acting forces between the cycloid wheel and rotating shaft and the pin sleeves of the pin teeth, The cycloid and the output device, analyze the main failure of the surface between cycloid wheels and pin teeth and the pin of the output device, set up the calculation theory of the strength, compare and analyze the outputting calculation result, by the calculation theory.4. Set up the three—dimension model and three—dimension physical—model and draw the two—dimension engineering drawing.5. Make the overall transmission experiment of the prototype with the magnetic—powder open test set confirm the rightness of the theory and design make the summary and appreciation.The common prototype of the new cycloid pin wheel has been researched. The prototype test is qualified and its main performances achieve the level of the international like products. This proves that the relative theory research result of the paper is right.
