From the point of view of more humanism, protection of eco-environment and sustainable development, The CBD open space is being focused, being felt, being experienced and being depended on by people in current modern metropolis of high density and large capacity.Based on analysis of domestic and foreign theory about definition of CBD and open space and relative planning knowledge, this article attempts to introduce the concept of the CBD open space. The article defines at first the CBD open space, Then discusses the connotation and the attribute, the types and people's cognition of it. Next, according to demanding of human and CBD Open space, the article proposes three principles of humanism design in CBD Open space. Then, discusses landscape planning procedure, the general planning goals, the planning principles and the guiding ideology, and proposes the planning mentality from macroscopic, the intermediate perspective and the microscopic aspects. Then the article analyzes factors influencing the planning of the CBD Open space designing such as culture, ecology, function and humanism designing, gives out appraisals and design discussion as well. Finally discusses by using CBD open space in commercial walking street, CBD water-side space and CBD square space as examples, it discusses humanism design techniques from design of human behavior and biological humanism, consciousness and psychological humanism, feeling and spiritual humanism.The CBD Open space is not only the landscape place exhibiting gentle beauty and humanism, but also source of the CBD ecology, so planning and design of the CBD Open space is a comprehensive systematic engineering. The study of the article hopes to establish preliminary theory frame for the CBD Open space planning and design of our country.
