Based On Image Processing Of Microbial Inhibition Zone Automatic Measurement And Analysis System

The antibiotic is a drug that is applied extensively in the medical treatment, and it is inspected strictly according to the provision of the national medical dictionary by the department of produce and medicine-inspection for the sake of its quality. Currently, the method of microbe standardization of antibiotic is the general method to antibiotic potency inspection in domestic and international, and it is used to discuss the potency of the antibiotic by measuring the diameter of the bacteriostatic ring. The automatic measurement and analysis system, which is based on the image processing for bacteriostatic ring in the paper, perfects with accuracy, adaptive and favorable, and it will be extensively used in the field of the medicine-biology.This thesis mainly describes a study of automatic measurement and analysis system which is based on the image processing for bacteriostatic ring. When scanner is used in the measurement system, some problems in accuracy are analyzed by introducing the principle and the composition and correlative theory of it. The structure and the reason of the scanner's errors are discussed to difine some technical specifications for its errors, and some variety regulation of its errors are studied by experiment. The variety regulation of the scanner's errors and TWAIN (Technology Without An Interesting Name) are used so as to auto-correct the result of measure automatically in practice according to correlative position of the bacteriostatic ring. Experimental results of bacteriostatic ring show that the present method improves the precision of measurement very effectively.The main work of this thesis is summarized and some suggestions for fulture development are gived at the end of it.
