AC variable frequency speed-adjusting system of electro-spindle withspeed-current double closed-loop is researched and software and hardwaresystems are designed in this paper. This system adopts SVPWM(Space VoltagePulse Width Modulation) control technology and RFOC (Rotor Field OrientedControl) control algorithm based on TMS320LF2407A DSP which is special chipof TI for motor control.The vector control theory and its decoupling are introduced on thefoundation of the mathematical model of asynchronous motor. The variablesin 2-phase static coordinates are converted into the variables in rotatingcoordinates and the components between torque and magnetic field of statorwinding current are decoupled which uses the rotor-field-orientedtechnology. Thus, the speed regulating performance of the asynchronous motoris improved highly.Using TMS320LF2407A DSP designed board, one electro-spindleadjustable-speed hardware system is developed including motor,photoelectric encoder and the driver board. With assembly and C languageof DSP, Some control programs of the electro-spindle system are designedincluding mainly SVPWM, RFOC and the detection of current and speed.With the MATLAB/SIMULINK, using module library and S-function,simulation models of a synchronous motor,SVPWM and electro-spindle systemare established. According to the vector control algorithm and experimentparameters, the simulation models are tested and corrected in time untilthe models are optimized. The result of simulation shows that it has thehigh performance and the good precision.
