Based on the research of the project—"The Fuse Technology of Smart Mine", and according to the development tendency of anti-armed tank weapons, thisdissertation presents a kind of passive acoustic detecting method which is combinedby voice/infrared for terminal sensitive projectile. Automatic detecting, tracking andtarget recognition are finished with the acoustic noise character. This paper presentsacoustic localization algorithm and discusses the affect of noise to the localization, then a method of how to correct the affect of noise has been studied.The dissertation introduced the theory of passive acoustic localization and thealgorithm of square array. By use of combined acoustic path difference, the paperamended the passive acoustic localization formula and improved the accuracy oflocalization. According to this the hardware design of warning system has beenfinished:In order to satisfy the need of real time and accuracy of the passive acousticlocalization technology, high performance floating DSPs is used as core processor andthe circuit design of acoustic detection system has been completed. A second-levelBootloader has been created in order that the system can run solely after the system iselectrified, and the code has been burned into the flash memory.
