Car Computer Cd / Vcd Player System Design

Car PC with CD player and VCD player which is developing fast are researched and designed in this dissertation. The CD&VCD player designed for Car PC is based on AMD Au1200 processor and WINCE5.0 operating system using MPEG-1 technology.Chapter 1 introduces the current research status of Car PC and the significance of the research work and the research task.Chapter 2 introduces technology information of CD and VCD player system for reference. It includes the design flow of the embedded system, the reference information of CD and VCD disc, the theory of encode and decode for MPEG-1 and the meaning of digital audio equalizer.Chapter 3 presents system function requirement and then present the CD& VCD player design which includes hardware platform design, software system design and the player design,then introduces the software development entironment.Chapter 4 implements CD and VCD player system architecture. It includes software architecture, design flow and implementation according to CD and VCD specification,. In addition, this chapter also present the design of audio system control.Chapter 5 introduces the test coverage which includes testing contents and test result for player and equalizer.Chapter 6 presents research conclusion and proposes the prospect of CD and VCD player on Car PC.
