Along with urbanization and economy fast development, it is a serious problem that there is some traffic congestions, severe air pollutions and city noise in Chengdu, which has restricted the sustainable development of urban economy, society, environment and resource, so based on the sustainable development goal, evaluating scientificly the Chengdu traffic sustainable development level, sustainability and coordination, analyzing the sustainable development of facing problems and reasons, all of this is great significance to resolve the problem of Chengdu traffic distorted.Guided by the city traffic sustainable theory, using analyzing method and testing methods of indicator system, the paper has established indicator system of Chengdu traffic sustainable development. Based on that, it has defined the weight of the system of index with improved entropy method to avoid normal entropy method that will be irrational, and established evaluation model, which can calculate the degree of Chengdu traffic sustainable development. And then, the two evaluating coefficients of Chengdu traffic sustainable development including comprehensive development level and coor dinate coefficient are obtained by writing program, Chengdu traffic sustainable development is divided into three stages, the paper has further analyzed situation of progress of subsystems and tries to find the main factors affecting it. Finally, according to rough sets theory with the weight of index, this paper has obtained the mined reduction, and tested the reduction by using wavelet neural networks, then we have produced decision making principles depended on this reduction by using software system for support to decide. Meanwhile this paper has advocated method of how to solve the problem of Chengdu traffic sustainable development for decision.
