But Internet, which developed very rapidly under the global informatization, provides a quick and convenient way of resource sharing and information communicating for the automobile maintenance industry. Also, Internet makes it possible to establish an automobile remote fault diagnosis system.It is impossible to be connected with Internet by wire due to the uncertain position of automobiles, but it can be made up by GPRS technology, which is a mature technology used for data transmission in wireless way. Through adding a GPRS module to in-vehicle embedded computer, it could connect Internet wireless. It provides the automobile remote diagnosis system a foundation.In the automobile remote diagnosis system, the in-vehicle embedded computer plays a key role. In the research of remote diagnosis system, as for embedded processor, ARM series S3C44B0X is chosen and as for embedded operating system,μClinux is chosen.The key work that has been done is below:1.Analyze the function requirement of in-vehicle terminal and build terminal hardware platform. Study the development trend of embedded system and design in-vehicle terminal system integrating embedded ARM processor, GPRS mobile communication module, LCD screen, CAN BUS communication module and keyboard interface module.2.Analyze software function of terminal and design software application. Study the characteristic of embedded operating system and application software and design terminal software application system usingμClinux as its operating system. The development of application includes PPP script dial-up, socket network program and ucgui user graphic interface. |
