As we know, the Lubrication and Oil System (LOS) of engines is one of indispensable systems which ensures their operation reliability and life-span, so it should be analyzed and investigated thoroughly. And it will have the extremely vital significance and the reference value to the next use and the improvement of the LOS.The paper examined the performance characteristics of the LOS of four cylinder diesel engine with theoretically and experimentally. It firstly researched the structure of the LOS. Secondly, the simulation model of the LOS was established according to the foundation of hydromechanics. Lastly, take AMESim as the simulation platform, 1-D CAE simulation model of the LOS was established according to actual oil gallery size and part performance, and the model can well simulate the main gallery's situation and each bearing lubrication situation of the LOS.By the simulation calculation of all kinds of performance in the LOS of diesel engine, result show that the design is comparatively to be reasonable and can achieve the lubrication effect. But it also has some deficiencies, mainly displays the pressure drop of the whole oil gallery is very seriously. Additionally, the flow velocity is also high at entry of the oil pump and still had further to make the improvement.Through simulation analysis of the LOS in the diesel engine, we have got the massive performance data and have offered certain reference for development and improvement of the LOS of the series diesel engines. |
