| Since the gas turbine engine came into being in 1940s, it has achieved great changes in aircraft flight speed, altitude and endurance, and has brought back tremendous military and economic benefit. Aviation developed countries carried out numbers of basic research program for the aero-engine technology development, produced advanced aero-engines for military and civil aircrafts generation by generation, stepped up on new technical levels. In less than sixty years, the thrust- to-weight ratio representing gas turbine engine comprehensive performance level had been enhanced from the initial value 2:1 to 10:1, contributed continuous improvement to military and civil aero-engine performance. Aero-engine trade has become the leading industry of the world aviation power's military industry and national economy.Since 1950s, our country's aero-engine industry has produced under license and surveyed and drew and imitated a few types of aero-engines. However, due to the technique's complexity and the impercipience to the law of development of aero-engine as well as the lack of holistic programming and clear development thinking and specific emphases and direction of engine's development in the past time, it resulted in the whole aero-engine industry's random development, with no integrality and systematicness and continuity. At present, we still rest on the level of surveying and drawing and imitation and amelioration. We haven not yet gone through the complete process in aero-engine development containing the key technique breakthrough, component test and verification, core engine, validation engine and model development and so on. Especially, we haven't mastered the key techniques, i.e. the core engine technology fully, not to say thorough understand the core engine of several types we developed. In addition, many remaining complicated technical problems in core engine stage have seriously affected the progress in the model development.Based on the investigation on technology development and algorithm analysis of the core engine performance of oversea aeroengine, this paper systemically summarized the general rule of oversea aero engine and core development.Having summarized our achievements and experiences of core engine technology study and the status of aero engine development in China, this paper adopted industrial engineering theory and method, combined together with the research of matching technique of developing engine derivatively from core engine, went out a clear thought for core engine technology and engine development in China. It put forward to develop core engine family and derivative engine family, and a suggestion of systematic programming China aero-engine development. This is a good reference to the administration for the drafting and application of aero-engine research and development. |
