The Dynamics Of Large-scale Wind Turbine Is Calculated And Analyzed

In this thesis, the 3-D model and dynamics model of simplified wind turbine generator system were built. The simplified model consisted of blades, hub, transmission system (gearbox) , generator, nacelle pedestal and tower. The finite element model of it was written into APDL of ANSYS. The static deformation, intensity and stiffness of wind turbine were analyzed, under gravity, centrifugal force, wind force and composition of forces.The modal analyses of wind turbine generator system were done when pitch angle were at 0° and 90° .It computed the dynamic characteristics of them, and obtained the first 20 modes natural frequencies and mode shapes of them. Their low frequencies were close in numerical values; though mode shapes were different, there were some laws of the variation. Then it compared the stress distribution and strain distribution of blades which is orthotropic material.In dynamic response analysis, it approached the response of blades and tower when wind turbines subjected to eccentric exciting, and checked the intensity and stiffness. It analyzed the vibration response of wind turbine generator system when wind rotor was running and the generator was running. Then found out the intensity and stiffness risks of the structure and put forward a scheme of structural modification.In the thesis, the intensity and stiffness of wind turbine generator system were enhanced by structural modification of blades, then the dynamic characteristics were improved and the vibration responses were lowered. It provided a feasible and effective method for structural modification of large-scale wind turbine.
