The force acted on the rotor blade is very complicate when the wind turbine runing in the natural environment. So analysis of load and force are important for design of wind turbine. The analysis of stress based on the inertia force and the aerodynamic force is a important subject which have been attended by scholars both abroad and at home. This paper studies the structural dynamics of the rotor blade of the horizontal axis wind turbine using the modal analysis method. In recent years, modal analysis becomes a important means in studying structural dynamic characteristics of kinetic systems of multiple degrees of freedom for rotor blades. There are two main kinds of modal analysis means, the experimental modal analysis and the calculational modal analysis. There are some conclusion can be got about the vibration and vibration frequency of blades, by modal analysis. The valuate of first order vibrational frequency is close to the natural frequency of blade; In different order vibrational frequency, there are different shape of blade. In lower frequency, the form is flapwise; edgeoise in the next order mode shape; stress acted on the components are asymmetrical and much diversity in different components; the scope of change in stress and transmutation of blades can be reduced by using the material had lower density and high intensity.
