Web Services-based Product Tracking System

Along with the complex product multi-disciplinary collaboration design demand growth, higher requests are proposed to the product design coordination environment and the function interoperability. The professional from various departments use different application systems. For enhancing the product rated capacity, it is the key to strengthen the integration and the interoperability between these systems. There are many problems along with the process of asking questions and improving design, because of lacking support of an unification coordination system. So we need a product collaboration design issue tracking system.Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) is a collaboration platform for cooperation between the enterprise various departments and organization's. In this paper, the WSS Web Services are studied. And a new Product Collaborate Design Issue Tracking System is proposed. The main research content and the new opinion are as follows:(1) According to the general question treating processes, the issue tracking and management demand is analyzed. The question information description model and the design issue tracking system function model are designed. Then the PCDITS architecture is proposed. It is a set of five realization model structure: system interface level, system realization level, system services level, XML information level, gSoap level.(2) The interoperability technology among systems is studied, cross platform. And how to use the gSoap stub and skeleton compiler to build SOAP clients is introduced in detail.(3) The issue item query conditions organization and the description method are researched. And the issue query based on complex query conditions is realized.(4) To upload and download the appendix between the client side and server, Base64 encoding and decoding technology are introduced. And the Base64 encoding and decoding module is accomplished.(5) The software hide-interface technology is researched to protect the core code.The advantages of PCDITS are as follows:(1) The system interface is cross-platform.(2) It's high interoperability among the other application system with PCDITS.
