Vacuum Insulated Panel is one kind of sup-adiabatic heat preservative material. The Thermal conductivity of VIP can reach to 0.004W/ (m·K) . It is very thin and the thickness is about 17mm, compared with common adiabatic material. Now it is widely used in many fields, such as refrigerator, cold store, refrigerated container, medical incubator and so on. Recently many countries are studying actively on how to manufacture the VIP.The Insulated Effect of Vacuum Insulated Panel is not only affected by the Vacuum degree in the VIP, the gatter, but also by the core material. Analyzing the adiabatic principle of the vacuum insulated panel and listing various factors that can affect its thermal conductivity, in this paper, several methods are put forward to reduce the thermal conductivity of the vacuum insulated panel.In this paper, I introduce a method of making the Vacuum Insulated Panel in the part-making way and also how to make the part-connection of VIP in the reefer wall. The method is feasible and suitable for making at domestic.Applying the steady-state-flat method, I design the apparatus for measuring thermal conductivity of the Vacuum Insulated Panel. With the constant temperature unit whose power can be changed, and chilled water as cold source, the test result is accurate under the variable power of the constant temperature unit. The apparatus can be used to check the cryogenic performance of the new VIP and the aging degree of the used VIP.In this paper, I analyze and calculate the heat-insulating property of the reefer which VIP is used on, compared with the common reefer which common insulated material such as Polyurethane (PU) is used on.
