Low-rise High-density Residential Design Discussed

At present China is entering a new stage at which the society and economy develop very quickly and people have increasingly higher life quality and therefore have advanced ideas and more demands regarding to the inhabitation. Because Low-rise high density dwelling house has the advantages of comfortable size, intimity to natural environment and flexible use of space, it is becoming a popular pattern of construction. In this thesis, the history and developmental trend of the pattern of Low-rise high density dwelling house were reviewed and discussed, the current market, advantages and potential problems were also analyzed, furthermore, the planning and architectural designing of Low-rise high density dwelling house were studied. Based on a real case which is called "Li Shui Hao Ting", the thesis introduced the ideology of Low-rise high density dwelling house into practice at different aspects of product orientation, integrative analysis and planning and designing. The principles and methods of designing Low-rise high density dwelling house were further illustrated.
