This paper mainly researches on the navigation system of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). There are three navigating method, those are Beidou System, Radio and Dead Reckoning.At first, kinds of coordinate and the conversion between these coordinates are discussed. Then, based on the proper coordinate the movement parameters of the UAV are defined, and the system state equation model of this UAV is put forward. After that, the lateral navigation control is discussed, and the way of which is derived. The design method of the control law for the lateral navigation is described in detail as well as its process. Finally, in order to verify this method some digital simulations are carried out.Integrated design of navigation hardware is presented in this paper; also some elements drawing about hardware circuit and advertences about design are given.Integrated navigation theory of three basic navigation methods is presented in this paper, based on which path planning and controlling of flight are studied including control patterns and methods. For wind is one of the main errors sources of Dead Reckoning, estimating of wind and its correction for Dead Reckoning is discussed.The navigation software is the main work of this paper; implement of the software for navigation is discussed in the last chapter. Flow charts of chief parts of the software are presented. Processes of programming which involved hardware are introduced as well as the software under platform of PC and DSP respectively.At last, some security methods of UAV are studied.
