| Brushless exciter is a AC exciter with a rectifier rotating following it. It is a important part of excitation system, which affect directly the performance of generator.The exciter is less and cheaper as compared with the generator, so there are few researches for the exciter and few publications to introduce design method and principle of the exciter. Refer to the electromagnet calculating formularies for the DC electric machine and the mid-mini type synchronous generator, our engineer deduce the calculating formularies for the brushless exciter to calculate manually, which met the demands of design and market then. We must provide various produces with the better performance to answer serious market, we must provide more accurate technical data while the Auto Voltage Regulator develop from simulation type to digital type. Manual calculation can not meet our demand. We must make computer aided design and optimization design programs about brushless exciters.The works of the paper are: deduce design calculating formularies applied to brushless exciters on the basis of some files and make computer analysis program; calculate some factors including leakage coefficient and air gap factor by finite element method, then improve the calculation speed and the result veracity by field-route method; analyze and improve the computer analysis program according to the brushless exciter type test report; select right parameters and constraint condition according to the design characteristic of brushless exciters and the our company fact, then make computer optimization design program base on genetic algorithm; according to the different result after optimizing, analyze and improve the optimization design program. |
