Structure optimization is a rising field developed in recent decades. It has overcome many limitations of traditional design technique and has broad applications in many fields. Its application in the fields of rocket launcher is bound to play a positive role in promoting the development of rocket weapons.This thesis is mainly focused on the bracket of some antiaircraft rocket launcher. Based on performance and intensity of the bracket, size and shape optimization which obtained a remarkable effect of weight reducing has been carried out. The main researches are as follows: ①Create finite element model of the bracket and perform normal modes analysis and transient response analysis which provide theoretical basis and performance constraint for the optimization. ②To reduce the difficulty and improve the efficiency and accuracy, the strategy of multi-level modeling and multi-level optimization is used and the bracket is divided into framework and chassis for modeling and optimization. ③Parametric model of the structure is created by PCL language in the environment of MSC.PATRAN. Such processes as submitting and abstracting results automatically are achieved. ④Such functions as process integration, parameters table, design of experiments (DOE) and optimization plan in iSIGHT software are studied. ⑤A combination strategy of DOE plan and optimization plan are used for structural optimization of the framework and the chassis. Orthogonal Arrays method is used in DOE plan while Multi-island Genetic Algorithm is used in optimization plan. ⑥The dynamics simulation of the launcher rocket system which adopts the optimized bracket is performed. Muzzle vibration and initial disturbance of the gun is verified.
