Large-diameter Single Tube-aircraft Guns Floating Research

It is an important and long-term research task to reduce the recoil and improve the fire precision of the weapon. In this paper, the machine gun interior ballistical model has been established, the dynamic model under the conditions when the machine gun implement and did not implement floating has been built, a dynamic analysis about the model has been complished. The analysis has illuminated that the huge caliber machine gun can float only by annular spring. Finally, the parameters of the spring floating self-acting mule have been designed and disposed by the method of optimize design, and the performance of the floating self-acting mule has been analyzed. All of above were aimed at shortcomings of the big recoil and low fire precision of 02 style 14. 5mm huge caliber single high-fire machine gun.The purpose of this paper was discussing the floating technology fit for the small arms. By adopting floating principle in machine gun, the recoil on the shooter ahd stack can reduce dramatically when the weapon was running fire, and improve the bearing pressure condition of the shooter and the frame foundation, and heighten the running fire precision.
