The majority soil of Yellow River alluvial local is silty soil or silty and sandy soil. This kind of earth includes a lot of silt. When the weather is dry, the silt has slightly cementing power, easily to be crushed and soaked, and much dust will be raised, and it is easy to become the fluid condition (low liquid limit), so the silt is a bad road material. According to the investigation, many underpass roads of Shandong Province Heze appears many destructions of varying degree, but the underpass roads are far not achieved the design service life. The destructions like the pumping, the crack breaking, the expansion joint push garrulously, wrong plant disease, piping erosion, these plant diseases seriously affected underpass road. The underway road is the modern municipal transportation pharynx and larynx, once it is destructed, will affect the transportation seriously.This article summarizes the insufficiency of the underpass road structure design and draining water (mainly includes surface drainage, roadway structure interior draining water and under-drainage) designs through several representative underpass roads in Heze city. Main work focuses on the pavement structure condition, damages condition, draining water condition and maintains condition By the close investigation and the system analysis, we think these insufficiencies are the main reasons which the Yellow River roads are damaged.In this foundation, unifying the domestic and foreign roadway structure and the draining water design experience, we take the Shandong Heze's actual project (under the Beijing-Kowlon railway) as a background, and propose the roadway structure and the drainage system separately about the underpass road .The result indicated that the design measure of this article proposed is able to solve Yellow River underpass roads successfully, such as road surface dehiscence, breaks plant disease and other diseases .The new underpass roads cost reasonably, and the driving quality is high. The roads service life obtained lengthens, so it will has extremely obvious economic efficiency and the social efficiency. May expect, this achievement in the actual project has the enormous application prospect.
