Abstract/Summary:
Superpave (Superior Performance Asphalt Pavement) is consisted with three parts which include specification of asphalt binder, mixture design and analytic system and computer system. It basically revised the empirical character of current test methods and specifications. We are introducing this system into China, but the set of SHRP equipments is very expensive and the situation is different between China and USA. So it needs to combine the situation of our country to make the best result.Firstly, this paper analyzes the climatic environment of LIUPANSHAN Corridor and classifieds climate sub region of the area,at the "Study of highway construction technology in LIUPANSHAN mountain area". It creates a way to select binder based on different position of asphalt pavement; Uses the elastic layered system theoretical analysis different pavement structure under the driving load function and the temperature influence, the shearing stress of asphalt binder interior along with depth change rule. Theoretically has analyzed under the different pavement structure form, asphalt pavement different position has different request to asphalt mixture high temperature performance. Introduced the simplification IDT intensity target to appraise the Superpave bituminous mixture the high temperature performance. Gave the revision comment to the Superpave design percentage of voids. Has analyzed the IDT intensity serviceability and the limitation, proposed the improvement measure.
