Evaluation method of the asphalt mixture high-temperature performance at present, mainly take experimental or the simulate test. The dependence permanent deformation of real road surface on its result of the test is not good. These methods can't totally reflect the course of the asphalt mixture high-temperature permanent deformation. The paper uses Superpave shear test mainly, investigate from mechanism the asphalt mixture high-temperature shearing and flowed deformation, which point out asphalt mixture rutting caused by compaction and shearing deformation in traffic mainly, without volume plasticity to shear and flow that is the main reason to the asphalt mixture high-temperature permanent deformation. Through comparative test and theoretical analysis, it thinks evaluating the high-temperature performance of asphalt mixture with Marshall tests and the rutting test has obvious limitation. However Superpave shear test can simulate traffic condition better, reflects the asphalt mixture high-temperature performance deformation. RSCH test, can appraise well as grades of mixing, voids, asphalt-aggregate ratio, temperature etc. impacting on high-temperature performance of asphalt mixture. Experimental index b , k , ? , can reflect to beginning , going on , finishing three high-temperature of stage to resist shearing capacity respectively of asphalt mixture repeated shear test, have appraised the whole course well of high-temperature and shearing performance deformation of the asphalt mixture. Through comparing the relation of APA test and shearing test, it put forward the maximal to allow shearing strain of RSCH test: ?max, the maximal repetitive shearing times: Nmax and minimum to allow APA rutting dynamical stability, which is comparatively suitable to examine the high-temperature performance of the asphalt mixture. Received the asphalt mixture mechanics performance index with frequency through FSCH test, it point out that the complex shearing modulus: G*, G*/sind can appraise the high-temperature performance of different asphalt mixture well. But phase angle: d can't relatively produce quality of high-temperature performance of every asphalt mixture obviously. While utilizing the time-temperature equivalent principle it has proposed the relation complex shearing: G* with driving speed: V, test temperature, and think the impact on high-temperature performance of asphalt mixture of temperature is greater than the impact on high-temperature performance of asphalt mixture of the driving speed. At the same time, through comparing and analysing the test method and index carried on, it think Superpave shear test is a kind of better test method that appraisal asphalt mixture high-temperature performance.
