Handheld Oscilloscope To Improve The Design

The digital oscilloscope (DSO) is a very important instrument in the test and measurement. With the development of digital technique, the function of the DSO is improved; it replaces the analog oscilloscope gradually. The handset DSO is a kind of portable DSO and it is widely used in some special spaces.Now, our country can produce the handset DSO. It can display the waveform of some signals correctly, change the way of the trigger. It has the functions of the multi-meter and also is called scopemeter. However, there are still some problems and bugs in the handset DSO. My paper is focus on how to solve the problem of the handset DSO and how to enhance the stability of the handset DSO and how to add more functions to the limited source of the handset DSO. I do some design to improve the handset DSO on the base of the old ones. They are listed below:1. I researched the theory of the handset DSO sampling and save, I performed the peak sampling by using the current handset DSO system which improved the functions of the handset DSO and made it possible to observe some random signals.2. I researched the process of the conversion of analog signals in the DSO and enhanced the compatibility and the stability of the channels. I changed the way of the calibration and made the signals of the channels got more exactly. I also added the protect instruments which made the channels more safe. I added the trigger circuit to the DSO.3. After I investigated the theory of the hand set product power supply, I improved the work stability of the 2-cell Li-Ion and reinforced the charge-manage the current and the voltage of the batteries which made it work longer. I also changed the way of the batteries work which improved the efficiency of the batteries.4. I researched some communication theory about the computer and solved some problems. Such as the isolation of the communication, the class of communication. They made the communication became more safe and convenient.
