Switched Reluctance Motor is a new kind of mechanical-electrical equipment which developed from the 1980s. It has many advantages such as simple structure, big stiffness, wide range of transforming rotation rate and it also could be turn on-off frequency under low current. As a new promising drive, SRM becomes more and more popular in the electric drive field. There is predominance in some low power applications such as the washer and the electrical bike in which the timing precision and the torque ripple are not strictly concerned.At first, this thesis not only presents the developing status of the SRD system both in domestic and abroad, but also introduces the advantages and disadvantages of SRD system, the mainly study topics of SRD system, the background and the main content of this thesis. The rapidly nonlinear emulation method is selected to solve the nonlinear model by comparing with other methods.Secondly, this thesis deduces the iterative formula of the magnetic conductance, simulates the magnetic flux lines of every different position by ANSYS, makes supposition and predigestion of the magnetic path, then analyzes the magnetic flux lines for eight special positions which are θa, θu, θ1, θhr θ10, θ20, θ30, θ40. The program is made to calculate and analyze the magnetic conductance value of every different position.The third, this thesis designs a new two-phase SRM of 180W with 4 stators and 2 rotors, which is used for electric bike. In the process of design, the analogism is introduced to combine the design method of the pint-sized and medium-sized asynchronous motors. Basing on Visual Basic 6.5, this thesis makes CAD software for the two-phase SRM, which could complete some display functions such as the structure dimension of motor, the current curve, the torque curve, the inductance curve and other performance curves.Finally, in order to enhance the ratio of performance and price, the structure parameters of the motor are optimized by the Sequential Unconstrained Minimization Technique. The optimization results show that the volume and the material expenses of the motor decrease while the electromagnetism torque increase.
