Bridge Cracks In The Mechanism And Control Measures

From several aspects, this paper discussed how the cracks on concrete bridges affect the structure durability, and studied the resource to cracks control.The first, this paper generalized the existing condition of cracks studied in each country, analyzed different demands on cracks in different specifications. The second, it analyzed the feature of cracks in two different bridge type: beam bridge& arch bridge, and from that, gave the more discussed in the mechanism of cracks production. It generalized the matured theories of crack calculation and gave its problems in these theories. The last, it gave the anti-cracking lock theory which help to control and prevention the bridge cracks, and generalized this theories existing problems. Against to the process which easy to create cracks in the bridge construction, this paper gave several methods to helped cracks control in these processes. On the base of generalized of traditional detection method and new technique, the evaluation on bridge cracks, this paper declared the existing forms of concrete structure cracks and several strengthening methods with a example.
