Optimization Study Of Small-town Group Transportation Network System

Small City-and-town Cluster(SCC) is the network phrase in the development of city-and-town construction, and is also a symbol of senior urbanization. Its evolution is the result of combined affect of politics, society, economy, culture etc.,is a special spatial area structure in the course of urban regionalization and region urbanization. The Zhujiang River Delta, the Changjiang River Delta, the Laozhongnan Area, the Jingjinyi Area are the four worldwide acknowledged city-and-town concentrated area in China now, and they are being the principal part in regional economic development gradually. Many conflicts and problems which come after the traffic network construction of SCC restrict the new development of SCC 's economy and city-and-countryside integration. Therefore the conformity of SCC 's spatial structure and optimization of traffic network system in SCC are imperative under the situation.This paper relies on the "Study of Key Technology on Traffic and Road Construction of Small City-and-town" which is one of the projects in national research programs on the technology key problem (2003BA808A15-1) , on the basis of sustainable development of SCC 's traffic, according to the collection and consultation of abundant literature, uses the traditional methods such as combination of theory and practice, planning research and example analysis, macro and micro research, qualitative analysis and ration depiction etc.. Embarks from the inner mechanism of SCC 's evolution and the traffic characteristics of SCC, elaborates the inner and outer factors which affect the traffic network system optimization. After the thorough analysis of common rule of integration of SCC 's traffic network and spatial structure, proper collocation and development of traffic network system, the arrangement and pattern of SCC 's transportation corridor planning has been proposed. Starts with the adaptability of SCC 's traffic network system, establishes the adaptable evaluation index system of SCC 's traffic network system, presents the applied compositive evaluated model and method. At last, the paper uses SCC in Zhujiang River Delta as an example, discusses its regional spatial layout and planning of integrated traffic and transportation system planning. The conclusion is supposed to optimize and perfect the spatial evolution of SCC 's traffic network, and then spurs the development of SCC's traffic and economy in a benign way.
