The research on riverine material flux and interaction of sea and land is the significant one of the global change research now. The Yangtze water and sediment flux research helps to discuss the evolvement of the Yangtze Estuary and its influence on oceanic environment, so that the interaction of global sea and land, substance circulation, substance transportation and translation are deepened to understand. Estuary tidal flat is the environment brittle area where has intensity interaction of sea and land. Not only the expansion of Yangtze Estuary tidal flat can provide rebirth soil and produce tremendous economic evaluation for development of the urban, but also acting as the system where biological function is special active, tidal flat has extraordinary wetland zoology evaluation itself. The Yangtze sediment transport is the most important sediment resource of Yangtze Estuary tidal flat erosion-deposition. Without Yangtze sediment transport, there is no growth and evolvement of Yangtze Estuary tidal flat, so research on correlation between the both is special necessary.Because the research on erosion-deposition of riverine mouth tidal flat affected by suspended sediment transport and its change trend, grain size of suspended sediment transport and its change trend is limited at present, based on hydrometric records from the Yangtze River in the last 50 years and field datum from riverine mouth tidal flat, the article has researched on the correlation between Yangtze Estuary tidal flat yearly erosion-deposition and riverine sediment supply, the correlation between Yangtze Estuary tidal flat seasonal erosion-deposition and riverine sediment supply, the correlation between Yangtze Estuary tidal flat future erosion-deposition and riverine sediment supply and gotten the conclusions as follows:(1) According to hydrometric records from the Yangtze River hydrological control stations in the last years, research methods such as water and sediment accumulation curves and time serial analysis were used to study the patterns of Yangtze water and sediment transport. The runoff discharge in the Yangtze River and its distributaries has been stable, while as suspended sediment transport and...
