The construction of 3-Dimension is the most basic and important component of the scene simulation system. It is the most important that people can experience the dynamic characteristic of scene with the random and mutual control. In other words, it is required that the relevant graphics can be created in time as the persons'movement. Therefore, it is required to consider the visual effect and real-time performance of scene traveling when the 3D modeling is constructed. The elaborate model can be built by large numbers of polygons. But huge numbers of polygons would increase the scene processing time, and reduce the real-time performance of the scene. Texture mapping technology, deleting hiding side and reducing the number of model's segment, which are three methods to reduce the number of polygons of models to improve visual effect, were focused on in this thesis.Rocket system comprises rocket body,control system, telemetry system, ballistic trajectory measure and wireless security system, liquid propellant utilizing system, routine dynamical system and low temperature dynamical system. Rocket system refers to 225 modeling objects, and 75 single equipment's models of control system and telemetry system were created in this thesis. The requirements to the real-time performance and visual effect of the model would be different as the different function of each module in the rocket scene simulation. So there were 150 models, classified as high, low class according to different visual effect on the same object. Control and telemetry system with high realistic visual effect were created firstly by texture mapping technique in 3D MAX modeling software. The label, symbol and materials'texture of the equipment were presented by color texture mapping technique. Then the medium and low class of 3D models met the requirements of the system were set up by the integrative application of texture mapping technique, deleting hiding side and reducing the number of model segments, which lead to reducing the number of polygons of models.Single equipment demo module unit of the rocket scene simulation system was developed in this paper.
