| At present, the vehicle independent heating installations what are called oil fired heaters are widely used to warm up passengers on domestic or overseas bus. These heaters use diesel or kerosene as their primary power supply and water or coolant as heat transfer media, thus their disadvantages are consuming less and less petroleum, having poor refueling emission and especially polluting urban environment. Although the late CNG fired heaters have a good exhaust emission level, yet the CNG energy density is less than oil and the gas tanks hold big room of the vehicle, so they are only installed on NGV and may affect the vehicle operating range.Due to the immaturity of the home CNG engine, most natural gas engine take DIESEL-CNG combined combustion mode. In order to reduce the pollution of urban environment which is produced by single oil fired heater and eliminate the influence of vehicle operating range when single CNG fired heater is used on dual fuel vehicle, the DIESEL-CNG dual fuel fired heaters have become the trend of heating installations on this type vehicle and had a great future. The study mainly performed method of the combination theory with experiment and the contrastive research, adopted YJP-Q30/2X heater as study object by contrast with the configuration, technology and use characteristics of YJ-Q27.9/2X heater, and accomplished the development of DIESEL-CNG dual fuel fired heater with reservation of some components in suit with oil fired function and the guide of combustion theory, heat exchange theory, aerodynamics and so on. This paper also studied the dual fuel supplying system, ignition system, control system and safety measures which allowed heater select diesel or CNG as fuel according to operating requirement and work mutually independently. The testing results prove that DIESEL-CNG dual fuel fired heater has achieved prospective objective and its heat, emission and noise performance is equal to YJP-Q30/2X heater and meets the requirement of heater 'standards and regulations. The study has solved the theory and technology problems of designing new DIESEL-CNG dual fuel fired heaters, perfected the testing ways of measuring heater's heat, emission and noise performance, and brought a new way evaluating independent heater's emission and noise performance. These achievements will accelerate technology progress of home vehicle heater. |
